Material testing

As a sealing materials specialist, KLINGER operates a state of the art test and development lab at the business location Egliswil.

Next to its function as a testing facility for a wide range of sealing materials and products, KLINGER is continuously engaged in the development of revolutionary sealing solutions. They have earned KLINGER a global reputation of being "trusted. worldwide.".

Furthermore, in order to maintain the high quality demands, every produced batch is inspected at the material testing lab in terms of compliance with standards and the strict company regulations as well as with regard to customer requirements. This ensures that customers can rely on the highest level of quality at any given time and instead focus on their core business. As a company that takes its responsibility seriously, KLINGER has furthermore committed itself to complying with all relevant safety, quality and environmental standards. This applies both to the development of new solutions and the manufacturing of existing products. Numerous environmental and quality management certificates held by the company underline this fact.

Next to the areas of activity illustrated above, the testing and development lab of KLINGER is characterized by another field: Various sealing materials can be examined with regard to their base components and services offered in this context also include damage analyses as well as application-specific material recommendations. With this important function the testing and development lab not only focuses on tasks within the KLINGER Group, but also executes corresponding orders for partners and customers as a service provider and service institution. This also extends to the assessment of sealing key figures, which are required for the calculation and design of tight flange connections. Furthermore, important other parameters and key data, in alignment with the application scenario and customer requirements, can be evaluated as well.

Next to its sealing materials specialization, the testing and development lab of KLINGER also features encompassing expertise in the field of testing raw materials utilized for gaskets: Fibers, elastomers, fillers and a wide range of other materials can be precisely analyzed and described.
